Ched-sterfield
Well someone has finally taken a punt on Ched Evans.

Be interesting to see/hear the stick he gets next season despite the original conviction being overturned.

Good on him I say for sticking with it.

Lengthy career.

Re: Ched-sterfield
May be because CFC would soon be 33 years of age and Ched Evans being 27 would have more of a lengthy as well as have a point to prove to the "finger pointing" doubters.

I can't understand why Chesterfield have done this when Carlton is available and is probably cheaper than big Ched.

'Why should Jessica Ennis apologise?'

For the Santander ads with Rory McIlroy for a start.

Best of luck to him...

Unfairly treated by the system...and many of the media and the public...

Very strange verdict based on available info...needs to be sorted...

Re: Ched-sterfield
Based upon the evidence that is/was in the public domain, Evans may stand bang to rights as a class A peasant but he is no rapist

The 'victim' - well what a piece of work that is

Ennis and co are nothing more than bandwagon jumping apologists for the chav culture from which they either emerged or despise

The whole case is a whirlitzer cesspit of UK plc

Re: Ched-sterfield
I doubt if the trial will ever happen. The case against him was laughable and, presumably, the bits of the original evidence which did have some credibility have now been shredded.

I'm still not convinced of the wisdom of signing someone facing a rape trial in October.

Well done to Chesterfield, a soon to be innocent man given the chance to resume his career.

Look out for the backlash from the usual suspects.
